Sometimes the best travel memories happen when you werenāt even looking for them.
While exploring Dayton, Ohio, we stumbled upon Rabbit Hole Booksāa little shop that quickly became one of our favorite stops of the trip. šš
What we thought would be a quick visit turned into HOURSĀ inside. š
The kids loved exploring all the shelves, discovering books, and playing chess. āļø They even found books they absolutely loved for just $1!Ā šš
And then there were all the fun little treasures and trinkets scattered throughout the shop. From unique finds to quirky things that caught their attention, there was something around every corner.
But the freeze-dried astronaut ice cream? šš¦
That was definitely a kid favorite! š They were fascinated by itāand honestly, who can resist trying astronaut food?!
And of course, we couldnāt miss the Alice in Wonderland table. šš«ā ļøā„ļø It was such a whimsical little setup that made the whole experience feel like we had stepped right down the rabbit hole.
This wasnāt just a bookstore stop. It was an experience.
The kids played chess, searched for treasures, discovered new books, tried astronaut ice cream, and found plenty of little things to make them smile. ā¤ļø
And thatās what I love about family travelāthe unexpected places often become the memories we talk about the most.
