And then there was the activity that completely won the kids over…
🤖 Sketch Bot Was the Favorite!
The absolute favorite of the day was Sketch Bot.
The kids were absolutely obsessed with the Sketch Bot. Watching it turn their self-portraits into drawings was such a cool experience, and they could have stayed there forever. Honestly, I think if we hadn’t eventually reminded them that food exists, they might still be there! 😂
This process not only entertains but also introduces children to basic concepts of robotics and animation, making it an educational experience as well. This interactive feature made the visit unforgettable and showed how creativity can be combined with technology in exciting ways.
And Yes… There’s a Play Area!
One of my favorite things about Crayola Experience wasn't even one of the art stations.
There’s a play area, which is absolutely perfect when the kids need to burn off some extra energy — and Mom needs approximately five minutes to sit down and remember what peace feels like. 😂
After hours of creating, exploring, and running around, it was the perfect place for the kids to play while Mom got a much-needed breather.
Because let's be honest: family fun is great, but moms need recess too. 😆

After five hours of creating, playing, and exploring, you might think you're finally ready to head home.
Not so fast! 😂
Before you leave Crayola Experience, make sure to stop by the Crayola Store. It's the perfect final stop to pick up some colorful goodies, souvenirs, and fun things to take home.
The kids can choose something to remember the day by — because apparently five hours of Crayola fun wasn't quite enough Crayola for one day. 🌈😂
So our visit ended exactly where you would expect: tired kids, happy memories, and a few goodies in hand as we headed out of the door.
Because no Crayola adventure is truly complete without a little shopping at the end! 🛍️🎨
🌈 Would We Go Again?
Absolutely!
Especially if you're already visiting the Mall of America and looking for something, the kids can enjoy for several hours.
Just be prepared: you may arrive thinking you'll stay for two hours and leave five hours later wondering what happened to your entire day. 😂
But if the kids leave happy, creative, and full of stories to tell…
I'd say that's five hours well spent. 💕🎨
